Holiday Inn Warrington by IHG

I came to this place on a coach trip, the room and ensuite is clean but the mattress was too soft. The evening meal was terrible the only thing I liked was the pate the starter. The vegetables wasn't cooked and the sausages wasn't cooked very well and the food ran out so some of the guests went without not good at all. The staff was very polite and the breakfast was really nice. There isn't shops close by to the hotel which isn't good when you don't drive.

I have stayed at a few Holiday Inns now (with my work), I know this one from way back, and a few acquaintances I know have not had good things to say about this one in Warrington. They must have stayed at a different Holiday Inn. When I walked in to reception you could tell it was very clean and tidy very professional and quick check in. Off to find my room, and it was superb when I got in. Spacious, spotless and just at the right temperature. It was a pleasure to not have to be disappointed. Had a nice evening meal in the restaurant, with good service despite it being very busy in the hotel this night. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of things on offer. The staff worked hard and where very chatty and informative, nice to see smiling happy faces first thing in the morning. Food was piping hot, tea or coffee was available neatly immediately you sat down. Other drinks also available if you do not drink tea and coffee. Tables where really clean an no marks or sticky residues from previous cleaning, someone works hard here keeping this place clean. Top marks for everyone here. I will stay here again on my next trip down. Holiday Inn, just need to repeat this winning formula at Warrington to a few other of the hotels elsewhere.

My welcome from reception was very lovely. The woman was very helpful. The bar was a very pleasant and warm area where I was able to catch up with some work in peace. The room was wonderful and very modern. It also felt really homely which made me feel a lot more comfortable. The hotel itself was very modern and welcoming, which is what you need when you have travelled a long distance. The breakfast was a very nice, help yourself buffet and the woman who greeted me in the morning was lovely also. Overall, the hotel was great and the service was marvellous. Thank you very much

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel for a short work stay and it was wonderful. This hotel was nice and clean, including the rooms, with complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridges. Special mention to both Niamh and David who worked behind the bar which were brilliant! Made us feel so comfortable and nothing was too much to ask of them. They were a great help and a credit to the team. The lady behind the reception was also very efficient and kind and made the checking in process and any requests feel easy. Much appreciated. Highly recommend

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They are well set up for social distancing, and excellent provision for hygiene. There were options to order food and drinks as take away to eat in your room, but I felt confident enough to eat in the restaurant, as it was quiet, with plenty space. The staff were absolutely lovely. I would stay again.

Stayed at this hotel on our way from Scotland to London, and were quite pleased. While it does seem a little dated on the outside, the interior was fresh, and the room was large, clean and very tidy. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the menu. The staff was excellent. Everyone from the desk staff to the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again, and I don't hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone.

We are staying for 5 nights at the hotel. The reception was friendly and welcoming. They need to mention to guests about the car park. We arrived and with a small child didn't really take notice of the signs. But I asked and it was fine. The room was good lovely shower and lovely bathroom, the room was clean and had comfy beds. The housekeeping staff are friendly and chatty and helpful they gave us water and biscuits for our room. The breakfast on Friday and Saturday was plentiful with a great choice. The female chef was brilliant. She was friendly and cheery and really did a great job. She took abuse from another guest which in my opinion is not acceptable. She explained that they were short staffed but yet again the guest was raising his voice and being rude. We are just coming through a pandemic and we should be grateful we have survived this. The two younger girls on breakfast were helpful and busy helping everyone and being chatty and polite to everyone even though they suffer verbal abuse everyday. People should remember that the catering and hospitality trade are really struggling. Please be kind to all the hospitality and catering staff they are doing there job as best they can. Management you should be so proud of your staff they are doing a great job. Thank you.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice and had everything you needed for an overnight or weekend stay. Everywhere was clean and neat. Breakfast was nice and had good choice. We also had an evening meal here and once again it was lovely. Little gestures like colouring for kids and books is an additional bonus. Would recommend x
